A downloadable book

From Paper to Playthrough is a book I wrote explaining the various elements of good game design. It's fairly short, and I hope it's comprehensive, and it's free. Feel free to download and read it to help learn about how to make games if you're just getting into it, and please review it so that I can help build upon it.

I wrote this book partially because I felt that many games nowadays are poorly designed and so that even people who aren't developers can understand what makes a game good, or well made. However, I also wrote it so that I can put it into my resume/portfolio to show I understand good game design when I do eventually apply for a proper game studio, along with the few games I've made.

Again, feel free to download it and read it, it's pretty short. Please write a review, feel free to use it as a source, share it with your friends or in your game studio, print it out and write all over it, shred it if you hate it, I don't care. Just remember that games are meant to be fun.
